Call to Order |
Pres. Nicolette Wilson KC Hopewell Hanover |
Eternal Father bless our land
Guard us with Thy mighty Hand
Keep us free from evil powers,
Be our light through countless hours.
To our Leaders Great Defender,
Grant true wisdom from above.
Justice, Truth be ours forever,
Jamaica, Land we love
Jamaica, Jamaica, Jamaica land we love.
Teach us true respect for all,
Stir response to duty’s call,
Strengthen us the weak to cherish,
Give us vision lest we perish.
Knowledge send us Heavenly Father,
Grant true wisdom from above.
Justice, Truth be ours forever,
Jamaica, Land we love.
Jamaica, Jamaica, Jamaica land we love.

Greetings fellow Kiwanians of Division 25, Cornwall.
I am pleased to be able to bring you greetings from the Eastern Canada and Caribbean District of Kiwanis International.
Please accept my sincere congratulations to all of you who are stepping up to take on leadership roles in your clubs. Kids need Kiwanis and Kiwanis needs people like you!
I wish you all great success as you take on these very important roles in your clubs and continue to serve those less fortunate than yourselves both in your own backyard and elsewhere around the world.
Thank you for your service to children and families in your community.
Keep up the great work,
In Kiwanis service.
John Chave Governor 2023 – 2024
My Fellow Kiwanians of Division 25, Cornwall,
Another year has come, how quickly the last one went by. Seems like only yesterday we installed the 2023-2024 administration. The time has come for us to say a big thank you for your dedication and commitment displayed over the year. Our gratitude for all the hours of persistence, patience, and positivity in ensuring that the overall management and performance of the clubs were of high and acceptable standards. A big thank you to all members of the clubs for their hard work this past year.
Congratulations to the incoming administration for accepting leadership in your clubs. We need people like you to face the challenge of taking your club from good to great.
Special thanks to LG Francois Lawrence for leading the Division during the past year and to the incoming LG, Kingsley Henry, for taking over the mantle to continue with a passion for growth not only for the Division but for the members.
Commendations on the collaboration of 12 clubs participating in the mass installation ceremony. This reflects what we hope will prevail throughout the year as we are stronger together in numbers. Our desire is to see clubs collaborating rather than competing and executing joint projects to work smarter and not harder.
Pam Rodney-White
Governor Designate
My Kiwanis family, today signals a very important milestone for our Division and the twelve clubs which are participating in this mass installation and changing of the guard. I extend my sincerest gratitude to Lt. Gov. Francois Lawrence and the outgoing club leaders for keeping the flames of Kiwanis alive and making it all about the kids. The new divisional and club leadership teams look forward to your counsel, as we provide our communities with service with an enduring impact.
To the incoming club leaders, your club members believe you have what it takes to sustain and strengthen your clubs and so do I. I believe in each of you. I see and feel the passion you have for our children. Let us commit to sharing our K with joy and without reservation, starting with the people in our circle. There are many people who want an avenue to give back to their communities and Kiwanis can be that avenue.
When the going gets tough, as it sometimes does, let us remind ourselves that kids need Kiwanis. As long as there are children going without food; children who are homeless or live in deplorable conditions; children who have been abandoned by their parents; children with disabilities; children in classrooms with leaking roofs; children with dull, boring classrooms and playgrounds, there will always be a need for Kiwanis. So, this year let us pursue more service, more fellowships and more fun.
If there was ever a time that we needed the support of each other, it is now. We do well when every club in the division does well. Let us support each other by inter-clubbing, joint meetings, joint service projects and doing activities together.
I am committed to being your number one cheerleader and club counsel. I am very excited about the promise of 2024-2025. We’ve got this!
Yours in Service,
Kingsley A.M. Henry, JP
Lt. Governor 2024-2025
Division 25 Cornwall
I hope this message finds you in great spirits! Today, I want to take a moment to extend a heartfelt welcome to our new incoming division leaders. As you step into these exciting roles, I am thrilled to hear that you have been elected to leadership roles in Kiwanis and you have answered the call. Each of you brings a unique set of skills, experiences, and perspectives that will undoubtedly enrich your clubs. Your diverse backgrounds and innovative ideas are exactly what we need as we continue to grow and navigate the challenges ahead. Embracing new leadership is like planting seeds of change, and I can’t wait to see how you’ll help nurture this garden of possibilities.
As you embark on this journey, remember that you’re not alone. You have a supportive divisional team behind you, eager to collaborate, share insights, and learn from one another. We believe in open communication and encourage you to reach out, ask questions, and share your thoughts. Your fresh perspectives are invaluable, and we want to create an environment where everyone feels comfortable contributing.
Embrace the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead, and remember that leadership is not just about making decisions; it’s about empowering others, fostering collaboration, and cultivating a shared vision. Your influence can create a ripple effect that motivates and uplifts our entire division. We believe that the best clubs are built on trust, respect, and a shared commitment to our division goals. Your genuine approach will resonate with others and lay the foundation for strong, lasting relationships. Lastly, as you settle into your new roles, don’t forget to celebrate your successes—big and small. Every step forward is a testament to your hard work and dedication. Together, let’s create a culture of recognition where we lift each other up and acknowledge our achievements.
Once again, congratulations on your new roles. We are excited to embark on this journey with you and look forward to all the amazing things we will accomplish together. Here’s to new beginnings, shared goals, and a bright future ahead!
“In a gentle way, you can shake the world” – Mahatma Gandhi
It is from a place of fulfillment that we pen this message. We have come to the end of a remarkably successful and life-changing year of service together. Who knew that a year ago after saying yes to leading the world’s impactful service organization that we would be here today? Celebrating together our successes, reflecting on the challenges, and smiling pleasantly as we remember that outstanding Kiwanis moment. To our board members, who willingly decided to accept the mantle to serve, thank you! We could not have made it without you. To every single member who showed up for projects, joined in an interclub, attended a fundraiser and shared their K, we appreciate you, you were the hands and feet of our clubs. Together, we have been able to serve our community, one child and one club at a time. We can look back at the last twelve months and smile.
As a President, we carry the weight of our club on our shoulders, and without supportive leaders such as our lieutenant governor and our class of presidents, we could not have done it. We acknowledge our Divisional leadership team; through them we were able to create a network of dedicated support and access mentorship and guidance. We learned from each other, motivated each other and shared ideas. Thank you to our understanding spouses and family members who supported us on this journey as we asked for a little more time away from home.
For sure, we have created new bonds of friendship because of this organization. Certainly, a child is happier today because of what we did this year. We lift our hats off to the outgoing club administrations and salute each of you for a job well done, amidst the circumstances. And as we close this year, we can happily say, we did it together. The world is a better place because of us!
We did it!
12 Club Presidents 2023-2024
Kiwanis Division 25 Cornwall
Fellow Kiwanians and esteemed community members,
As we stand on the threshold of a new administrative year, we want to begin by expressing our heartfelt gratitude to the outgoing Presidents for their tireless dedication, leadership, and unwavering commitment to their clubs and communities. Their hard work has paved the way for all of us, and we promise to honor their legacy by building on their successes and continuing to uphold the ideals of Kiwanis.
It is with great humility, pride, and a deep sense of responsibility that we, as incoming Presidents, accept the privilege of leading our respective clubs. We recognize that this role is not just a title, but a commitment to serve with passion and purpose. Together with our teams, we pledge to make the 2024-2025 administrative year in Division 25 (Cornwall) one that leaves a lasting impact on our communities, and especially on the children we are dedicated to serving.
Our focus will be on providing effective and efficient leadership, driven by a steadfast commitment to our mission. We will work tirelessly to support the growth of our clubs, ensuring they remain vibrant, active, and deeply engaged in the lives of those who need us most. “Children need Kiwanis,” and we are determined to rise to the occasion, ensuring that every service we provide echoes our shared vision of a better, brighter future for all.
As we embark on this journey, let us unite in purpose, fueled by compassion and the desire to make meaningful change. Together, we will continue to serve the children of the world and strengthen the communities we hold dear.
Here’s to a year of great achievement, growth, and service!
Sincerely,
12 Club Presidents 2024-2025
